    Did it just go into land but abort? Was down to 150mph and 1200ft over the runway but powered up and climbed

    Planned missed approach for visual inspection of the landing gear. (Nose gear I believe).

    It was a planned go around so engineers on the ground can have a look at the nose gear.

    No the plan was to fly past for ground crews to check that gear were down properly

    looks like it flew past at 500 and is climibing again now.

    im listening in, but id say im on the wrong frequency.

    alot of activity on the radio but aint seen one plane leave/arrive in the last 30 mins.

    Nothing scheduled to arrive until 15:40 local, last departure was at 13:10 local.

    Long gap in the middle of the day with no services at all.

    I see the gear doors are down in that picture. I recall the EI 757 that returned to JFK with a hydraulics problem advised ATC they would be landing with gear doors down and would require towing from the runway.

    Did he declare an emergency as the article states? And would that not have been signified with a Squawk of some sort? Thanks
