Saw the infamous Golf "GTI" in person! Was driving behind it the other day. I had the pleasure of explaining to the GF and her sister that it's a regular Golf and told them what a Golf GTI is, being much faster and much more expensive.

Then I noticed he added a red GTI badge to the back so I explained to them that signifies it's the even faster Performance Pack GTI. The RS7 mentioned earlier reminded me of it. They were bewildered that somebody would buy a badge off eBay and stick it on themselves. At least it doesn't come crooked from the factory :P

If you like the look of a GTI then it's ok for you to add the body kit to your car. After all, it's your car. If you add on GTI badges, you're just pretending. It would have been fine without GTI on the back of it. It's only short of having fake boost gauges...

Open to correction, but I believe this is a BMW Z3 M in a 3.0L straight six configuration. Certainly had the exhausts to boot.

Not sure about canada, but those Z3 m coupes have the engine from an e46 m3 on this side of the pond. 3.2, straight 6 343bhp.

I remember seeing one in the flesh when the were new in a multistorey. The rear wheels and arches were huge compared to anything on the road at the time. Such a cool car.

BMW didn't have a working Z8 in time, so it was actually a kit car with a corvette engine. Cutting it in half doesn't seem so bad now

Fact that Ronan Keating has/ had z8 ruined it for me. The z8 wasn't a success when it came out and for a long time but now they go for mad money.
