Charles Hurst is opening in Goatstown (where Audi used to be). Saw a truck full of Bentley's being delivered this morning.
This pic was tweeted from the launch event this evening.

This is the same car in the old Balbriggan showroom last year. Been knocking about the past year.

Yea, LHD 458. They must have it for nearly a year at this stage. They were looking for €220k which would be in the ballpark for a RHD personal import. Not surprised it hasn't sold. Insurance for a LHD Ferrari would be rather expensive I'm guessing.

Was up with Charles Hurst around 2007 and one of the salesmen was telling me that they were in the advanced stages of planning to open an Aston Martin/Ferrari/Maserati/Bentley dealership in Donnybrook. The reason being that, at the time, they were selling more cars in the South than the North. Obviously the recession put paid to that at the time.

Looks like the good times are back!!

I think it only looks good in R-Line spec and lighter colours suit it better.

    talking of Audi S cars....

    cracking looking S3 saloon - close to 300 bhp from a 2 litre turbo'd 4 pot
I've seen a couple of S3/RS3 hatches, though not an RS3 saloon as of yet

I think the proportions of the A3/S3 saloon are nigh on perfect, similarly the BM 2 series coupe - akin to the E30 before they went and got all bulked up.

Theres a metallic gold arteon I see from week to week usually parked up and it has serious presence sitting still. Amazing arse.

Over 300 in that guise, hard to beat an S3 :D

I think it's better proportioned than most of the Audi range.

Spotted what must have been the same car in Ikea during the summer, beautiful color

Spotted a 162 Maserati Levante on the canal this morning. I don't think I'd seen one in the flesh before. It does look good, although not as inspiring as I'd thought it would...

I have a photo but I've forgotten how to put it up!

That car reminds me of another description he had for the Chrysler crossfire "Looks like a dog taking a ****!"

I spotted an equally rare 151 Ford Focus Titanium Type R 5-door on Sunday in Limerick. Sadly I was driving so couldn't take a photo to share its awsomeness on here :(

On a side note though, isn't the Titanium a pretty high spec level for Fords? What goes through someones head to degrade a car by then putting a Type R badge on it?:rolleyes:
