I'm not really an Audi head but that looks brilliant. Some of the newer Audis such as the A7 look fantastic in those deep blues. I think its called sepang blue, then again I'm a sucker for a blue car anyway!

Estoril blue is another one. Liked it so much I've painted my car with it

I used to really like estoril blue when it was reserved for m cars, but since it's so popular now in the f30 mostly 4 cylinder diesels kind of took it's exclusiveness away. Still a lovely colour mind you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,418 ✭✭✭goochy

not normally an Audi fan but the current range - A6 aside - is a lot more distinctive / classier looking than previous models.

Yep I agree. Always associated it with proper M Cars, and now you can have it on a four pot diesel three series which - obviously theres a market for it, but it still loses its appeal to the true enthusiasts.

There's a thread burrows in the project section. I haven't been near it in a long time :o

Bmw estoril looks good on some cars but overall in not a fan of it, don't think it suits the e30 much. Audio estoril on the other hand is nothing like the Bmw colour, its way darker. Darker than the usual le mans or avus blue you see on a lot of bmws

There's a blue that looks like Estoril but it's a small bit more turquoise and is called Long Beach Blue:

Yas Marina is the M3/4 colour
Estoril is the 320d 420d colour
Monte Carlo Blue is the F10 m5 colour
Long Beach is the m2 colour

Its all confusing and they are all quite similar.

If there's one new BMW I'd like its the M2. Drove a few of the less powerful ones and they were a fantastic car to drive.

Pick of the range for me at the moment.

There is a new blue on the 4 series called Snapper Rock blue. It is very like the Laguna Seca on the e46.

That Z3M looks absolutely miserable :(

Probably because it's almost 18 years old and hasn't tried to kill an owner yet like all it's mates :D

I had one of those GLE’s last year in england, a 350 AMG, and it was a beast of a thing to drive.

And I think they look superb

That's just nasty in that colour.

There's a lovely 06 Maserati sitting on Merrion Square just now. Beautiful machine!
