Didn't drive it but hopefully will get a drive in it soon. Seriously impressed with the looks. Looking forward to seeing how it compares with other hot hatches new and old.

Looks much better in that colour than the kind of Polestar blue they have.

One thing I notice though - exhaust fumes from the passenger side but nothing from the driver's side!!! Please tell me it's got a butterfly valve in the driver's side that opens once the engine reaches a certain temp and it's not a fake exhaust!

I presume it's something like that.

I think its an awful looking car. There is nothing worse than superfluous flairs and flounces and fake vents. And what is with that random fake gill on the rear bumper wraparound?!

That i30N is hardly the performance version is it? The 275 with LSD one..Probably none of them on demo here!

But there are 2 versions a 250 bhp with open diff and a 275 with lsd version

That's a rather nice interior but 42k for a Hyundai? It'll depreciate significantly and will be worth 20k in 3 years time. I can see them becoming the next Toyota Twin Cam.

One thing that satisfies my OCD about that ad - when you click from the front-on view to the rear-on view, the licence plate stays exactly in the same position

It's so annoying how cars that were intended to be cheap/affordable sports cars ... end up , well, not being all that cheap or affordable in good ol' rip -off Ireland.

(Kia Stinger and Ford Mustang also spring to mind)

True but I suppose you get what you pay for - cheap cars are cheap for a reason (Dacia) and if you want more out of a car you pay more.

Still though, €40k is pretty good seeing that red Hyundai's look like Ferrari's these days!!:D:D

I really like that! I think that, as others have said the red looks very well.

However, despite it being a sporty 2.0 petrol, you'll have regular Joe soaps saying "It's a Hyundai though" due to the badge snobbery in Ireland.. Which is a pity. As I believe that Hyundai (Kia too) have really done well in resent years..

I saw the Hyundai is just under €43k here in Holland, according to the Top Gear magazine. But €33k in Belgium..

Spotted this Lusso T outside the Merrion Hotel yesterday afternoon.
Will be a regular spot from what I've been told.

Also spent some time shooting the new FK8 Civic Type R during the week, serious head turner and seriously capable, would have one over any other hot hatch currently on the market.
