I always saw it as the current take on banger racing. But without the racing.

Not at all. He might have talent, but in Motorsport, talent without serious funding gets you nowhere. I doubt he's paying for the car out of his pocket money ;)

More a case of pure and utter dedication to a sport like any athlete and the balls to put every last thing you have on the line in the quest for success at the highest level. What people need to realise is that we have a motorsport here on our hands where the Irish are right up there at the cutting edge both in terms of competing and staging events. The work going into cars up and down the country in small sheds and lockups is staggering, and the days of the snobbery of 'thats a load of boy racers doing skids' is long gone. Long gone are the days that circuit racing of any kind will attract the 10,000 plus attending events in Mondello for IDC these days

I'm well aware of the effort made by the hundreds of Motorsport participants up and down the country, but thanks for the sanctimonious rant anyways.

My original point still stands. He's getting serious funding to allow him do what he is doing.

    Talented or well funded?

Can it not be both?

Definitely can be. In Motorsport though it's usually pointless having one without the other.

2008 Corvette 6.2L of pure American V8 muscle near Rathmines

Also heard it tear down the road, sounded a little muted to be honest... Definitely needs a nice aftermarket exhaust to amplify that glorious sound

Not sure why the hazards where on with the brake lights though

Poorly wired euro-conversion harness? Usually its the reverse lights that dont work properly.

Normally the brake lights would flash as indicators. But not together, obviously.

Gorgeous little corolla, do you know was the engine a recent swap? They came with a 1.3 4k iirc, and a 4age is usually the preferred swap.

The guy who built it did the swap a couple of years ago afaik, some lad up in Donegal who was a shed full of them too apparently.
The Liteace engine slips straight in with little to no modifications.
