    Smashing looking little car.
Agreed, I'd love one with the GT pack in yellow.

Nice yellow 1979 Land Cruiser SWB

Wouldn’t have thought the chassis would be a straight swap for a Hilux Surf...

Especially a SWB chassis with a LWB Hilux slapped up on it

Spotted two transporters in clontarf, nothing to exciting on them until I noticed this orange McLaren! Not sure of the model.

seen a similar transporter in ballymun a week or two ago, same eclectic range of cars including a new ford mustang & old 911 on america dealer plates.

Is the top pic not wexford town? Definitely used to be a mini sticking out of a wall down there!

Not trying to be pedantic just curious if there's two in wexford county!

Is there a link with Boland in Wexford and Europcar?

Many Europcar rentals are WX reg from Bolands

  • Registered Users Posts: 73,454 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

Bolands run the Hertz franchise in Ireland anyway. Don’t think there’s a link with Europcar.

Europcar have a link with Irish Car Rentals, or ICR Group, Clareview Motors in Limerick were part of this group years ago, and there’s still a Europcar agency on that site, even though Clareview have gone bust a few times since.

I'd like to see Land Rover defend that design. Doesn't look great IMO

No, I'm of the opposite opinion.

I think Land Rover hit the nail on the head with it.
Imposing, different and modern. Albeit pricey.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,224 ✭✭✭Kilboor

I'll have to wait to see it in the flesh but it doesn't seem as imposing as Land Rover should be. Looks like a sort of hybrid van you'd see in a cyberpunk movie

I have to say I really like the new Defender.
