There were a load of them around years ago. Unfortunately I think most were exported.

I had a spin in 07D1599 a long time ago

I was cycling so I didn't get any pictures, but in the space of 10 minutes I saw a Tesla S, an Aston Martin Rapide S and a Maserati Quattroporte. The Aston was in a right state, 152 plate, filthy and it's a weird car. Not a nice looking machine, too long and proportioned weirdly.

Probably seen the same Tesla you did this morning. Also a M5 with a reg that had 507 on it.

And just there a second ago, and I see it regularly, am M5 touring in Donnybrook

    . WiLL

    (Redirected from Toyota WiLL)

The WiLL brand was a marketing approach shared by a small group of Japanese companies who decided to offer products and services that focused on a younger demographic from August 1999 until July 2004 in Japan. The companies that participated were the Kao Corporation (a manufacturer of personal hygiene, household detergents, and cosmetics), Toyota, Asahi Breweries, Panasonic, Kinki Nippon Tourist Company, Ltd, Ezaki Glico Candy, and Kokuyo Co., Ltd. (an office furniture and stationery manufacturer). Toyota also engaged in a similar "youth oriented" approach in North America, with the Project Genesis program. This selective marketing experiment reflected a Japanese engineering philosophy called Kansei engineering, which was used by other Japanese companies.

Never heard of it so I looked it up, a Toyota in disguise.

Was snooping around the car park on holidays, and found this. Only pulled up a little bit of the cover, as I didn't want the owner to come down and get disgruntled. Should I go back for a full shot?

Not 'what I saw today', turning right in Greystones during the week was passed on the inside by a largish all black saloon, could have been a BMW but as I wouldn't normally take any notice I'm not sure. VIP in large letters on the top quarter of rear screen..but it was the sound...magic , this was the real deal a bit like that black Mustang in Bray, definitely not the usual sheep in wolf's clothing, just wondering does anybody know it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 73,454 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

I didn't think any real VIP would put a VIP sticker on their car. but apparently it's a thing

Surely that's only a security badge to quickly tag the car by security personnel?

Nothing like that...these were large white letters maybe ten to fifteen CM high across most of the window, I only got a quick glance as it was the sound made me look over as I was halfway round the corner. Instant impression was they meant some sort of boy racer tuning or accessories outfit but not a clue really...
