Rare machine. Maybe this is better posted in the electric and hybrid forum...

    Always adored those X-19's. :)

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I saw that blue Polo with the SSR's up at Dubshed, and I must have spent about 20 mins in a trance looking at that colour. Without any doubt the nicest factory colour I've seen, just about beating out Polestar Blue and Yas Marina Blue that did hold joint 1st for a good while

I think so too. It gives a totally different look to those Polos even with stock wheels.

Whats the deal with the roof boxes on the Beetle and Audi ? Are they going on holiday or is this a "thing" now ? :o

Luckily, I got to drive this beauty doing hot laps for a full 3 days in Mondello in April. :)

Hugely quick, and amazing handling for a car with 4 seats and a roof!

On the way home just now came across a Mercedes AMG coupé of some description in Terenure Village - matte grey with a yellow stripe design down the middle. UK reg (65 plate) and looked like it was lowered too. I think it was a C63 or else an S63, can't tell the difference these days - anyone else seen it?

Seeing loads of nice cars around recently, must be the weather :o

Z8 in London tonight. It must be 15 years old at this stage, but looked like a new car.

the fact Ronan Keating has/ had a Bmw Z8 is the only thing that would put me off it !
They were considered overpriced and were not popular when new but are now considered modern classics and worth a few quid.

To be honest I think they've aged badly, just like the Z3. I'd sooner be looking to pick up a Z1. Now that's a modern classics!

I don't think it's fair to compare the Z8 to the Z3 which I agree has aged very badly. I think the Z8 was way before its time 15 years ago and still looks fresh.

I really don't think it will ever be timeless and in a lot of ways it reminds me of the Fiat Barchetta.

I kinda think they're both hideous :pac: Gimme the Panamera or the Countryman JCW in the background any day!

The first C63S coupes are only starting to get to the UK now, and the Edition 1 is an even rarer sight. I think it's somewhere near an extra £15k for Edition 1 livery
