Theres a lot of preety cool cars among my friends alright, but Cork is having a real renaissance of late with the level of cars around the place. I'd be a million miles from professional, but I write a few bits and pieces for FreshFix and MicksGarage and provide pics for the Irish Icons series for CompleteCar, so I'm always chasing guys to point my camera at their car

Aye there is some real buzz around this car since it came in a few weeks ago. The crux of the buzz is that it's a legit Kanjo racer from Osaka, Japan. What their at over there is that theres a 8 odd mile looping motorway around the city which has become a racetrack for a lot of locals in nutty Honda Civics. Its real hardcore, and this is probley the first authentic Kanjo car on the island. Its by no means mint, but these cars are just pure racecars for the road. The inside looks like it was painted with a roller, the dash was hacked to death for the cage and thers esentially no exhaust muffling, but its soo damn cool

That M4 looks like it has the competition pack on it as well as wheels from the GTS

They're the Competition Pack wheels, the GTS wheel is the same design but with the inside of the spokes painted orange.

saw a 162 D Merc. S600 saloon in cork yesterday - owner must be going mad he didn't wait till 171 and get huge discount !
Don't know if it was the colour - black - but wasn't that impressed - have seen ' lesser ' model s class with loads of extras that looked better.

It'd be pretty hard to fit them inside it I suppose! When you're in a place like that I suppose its more normal than here. And if you can afford one of those, you won't be too worried about the effect the extra drag has on your fuel consumption!!

the S600 was bought from Mc Eliigotts in Tralee - they are Merc. service/ parts dealer only these days - but imagine were delighted to get sale of it and gave good deal.
if you worked hard for your money theres no way it would not bother you that you could have saved maybe €30k ?? buying 6 months later.
