Does anyone know Is the one in clane still there?

What company are you with? They generally will sort a collection without waiting 2 weeks for the next one.

The one that was in Celbridge is gone too, don't know about Clane.

    Hi guys,

Has anyone found one of these bins at all nearby? I'd be willing to drive quite a bit!

What happens if you turn up with a few bags of refuse at Kilcullen's land waste/recycling site?
Looking at the website I get the impression they only take large amounts for something like a few hundred Euro a go.

Does that mean you can't legally dispose of domestic waste unless you are signed up with one of the bin companies? or else travel
somewhere to one of the disposal units that now seem to have all disappeared.

Can travellers otherwise legally dispose of their waste when on the move and have no access to a disposal unit?

    Prices:

Waste for Landfilling €223/Tonne (incl Landfill Levy), (Min €6.36 )

€6.36 equates to about 28.5 kg of Waste.

Your vehicle is weighed on the way in, they ask you what the waste consists of (e.g. scrap metal, household waste etc), you then dispose of your rubbish and they weigh your car again. You get charged for the difference in weight and as another poster has said, there's a minimum charge. If you bring some heavy electric items for recycling at the same time, you need to remember to get weighed the second time before you dispose of the electrical goods, otherwise you'll pay for recycling them....

Thanks for that info, I glossed over that page too quickly and didn't notice the "." in €6.36.
At least that's good news, so you can still go to Kilcullen with small amounts of domestic waste without having an account with bin companies.
