Hi all,

anyone who is currently living in Hollywoodrath, how long of a delay did you experience with service connections (ESB and Irish Water) before you were called to snag?

do you know which service is causing the delays? Not sure why meadows and laws are not snagging

I seen the ESB up there doing work about 2/3 weeks ago now so I assume the hold up for the lawns and meadows is Irish Water. There seems to be huge delays with Irish Water across all new housing estates

Hi Guys.

Quick tip, it might be useful for others.

When I searched my house by the address(not eircode as it takes time to populate in google maps), the pin for my house wasn't in the right position, so anyway can suggest the fix.

Here are the steps:

1 - open from computer https://google.com/maps

2 - search by address eg mine: 15 Hollywoodrath Lawns

3 - click on suggest an edit on "address searched on previous step"

4 - click on wrong pin location or address 

5 - check/fix eircode if is missing and any other information

6 - click on the map at last session, move map for the pin to be in the right position for your house, then click on save, and post.

7 - That's it, only need to wait for google to validate, and approve it.

The drive looks like it's going to be the last houses in the estate to be completed from my ovsetvations and talking to some builders on site

The builders said a while ago they expect to be offsite at end of March if that helps. Has regency given you any further updates?

Hey there, anyone recently got any snagging dates or updates. We have a house in the Drive (early 40) are told by our EA that they expect Apr end snag dates. We visited the site 2 weeks back and looks like it's almost done...not sure why the pace has slowed down so much.

Dont think they will call in April probably May at this stage. I think Irish Water have to sign off for them to sort out that hole on the path. Really frustrating dealing with more delays and no communication from anyone
