Selling a property - expected fees ?

    Hi,

    I will be soon selling my property and I am wondering what to expect in terms of fees charged.

    One place I enquired was 1.5% plus VAT of the sale price with a min charge of €2.5K

    Is this the going rate across the board.

    I sold in late 2004. I was quoted between 1.25% to 1.75% plus vat & plus varying amount for advertising fees from different agents.

    Paid 1.5% + VAT plus a couple of hundred upfront for advertising fees.
    That was Sherry Fitzgerald in Dublin.
