Hi, does anyone know of anywhere in South Dub that actually has this in stock at the mo?

I can only get my paws on the 250ml bottle and its such a waste at €11, when you can get twice the amount for €16.

I've been trying to find it since before Christmas, so Bioderma really seem to be struggling to keep with demand!

Sorry for going slightly off topic. Just wondering has anyone any experience using the bioderma anti redness or the bioderma atoderm intensive?

Can you ladies help me please. I see you all seem sold on micellar water as opposed to using the standard cream/liquid cleanser & toner. Do you think it is better or is it just easier? I am trying to decide on the Simple Micellar water.

These pharmacies/websites have the Bioderma water. :)

Lloyds pharmacies also sell it, its not on their website but they do have it in store. :)

I love micellar water as I personally found it to be more effective than creamy cleansers, I also found it quite gentle on the skin.

I loved the Simple one, its just as good as Bioderma and I would definitely choose it over Bioderma because it feels more gentle, but its also a lot cheaper. Boots also have a 3-for-2 offer on skincare at the moment too.

I've tried the Garnier one and didn't like it at all, it was harsh and drying on the skin.

I've used this L'Oreal one and loved it, I do prefer the Simple one as I find it more gentle on the skin, but that's just my personal experience.

I've I'm having a break out or something, I'll use this one by Avene, its fantastic, but can be drying so definitely not an everyday product.

This is meant to be good, I have never used it though. http://www.boots.ie/en/Super-Facialist-Probiotic-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-200ml_1711366/

My friend swears by this one, I've never found it to be good, its harsh, drying, left my skin feeling tight and dry. http://www.boots.ie/en/Boots-Time-Delay-Daily-Cleansing-Micellar-Cleansing-Water-200ml_1440680/

I'm currently using the Botanics one and its nice, its good, its not as gentle as the simple one though so for that I prob wouldn't repurchase it.

I wouldn't use micellar water instead of a cleanser /toner, I think your meant to use it just as a makeup remover. Micellar water breaks me out if I don't rinse it off, the same as face wipes would, but if I cleanse and tone afterwards I never have problems.

I generally just use it to get rid of eye makeup, it's very good for that, really gentle but thorough.

I use Garnier miceller water for removing make up, then I use a cleanser on my skin. It's great for removing eye makeup and doesn't leave an oily residue like my current eye makeup remover. I sometimes use it in the mornings also if I'm stuck for time and want to give me skin a quick clean.

StripedBoxers thanks for all the info in your post. I understand how you are using the micellar water. I currently use Monsia cleanser & toner but if I have used any makeup then I use jojoba oil after the cleanser because it is natural and I can remove the mascara using the jojoba oil on a cottonwool bud and very gently rub my eyelashes. I then rinse it off with cool water and then use the toner. Works brilliantly. Decided against micellar water, too expensive and doesn't do anything more than the jojoba oil.

Yeah i use it basically instead of wipes, which i was never really a fan of.

Its great to just get your make up off really quickly. I do have a proper cleansing routine also, its not a substitute in my opinion.

However when you're late home and the prospect of doing said cleansing routine is slim to none, then its definitly better than wipes/sleeping in your make up!

I'd also agree with previous posters that the Garnier version was too harsh for me. I actually didnt realise how harsh it felt until I tried Bioderma and noticed the difference.

I have the anti-redness cream and find it great, very soothing and nice ingredients in it. No perfume either. Also a big fan of the Bioderma micellar- I wouldn't use it every day but its good for days where you are wearing a lot of make-up. It's even better than the Una Brennan Probiotic one

Thanks for explaining. I have decided to stick to Monsia cleanser and toner but when wearing eye makeup I have decided to go with removing mascara and eye shadow with jojoba oil instead of micellar water. It works very well and I know my skin likes jojoba.

I live in South Dublin and I buy mine in either the chemist in Stillorgan shopping centre or in the big chemist in Leopardstown Valley shopping centre. Both have a huge selection of Bioderma. I use the cleanser and moisturiser too and my skin has never looked better!

I've been trying an alternative. I use my Monsia cleanser as normal but if I have been wearing makeup, i.e. especially mascara after using my cream cleanser I apply jojoba oil on a cotton bud and gently rub my eyelashes & eyebrows, tissue off and rinse face with cool water. Removes the mascara with no problem - just another way.

Interesting what you said about micellar water & break outs.

That sounds like a lot more work then what I currently do and I've had bad experiences with using oils on my eyes before.

So sorry which type of oils in particular and what sort of reaction - I tend to keep a list of other peoples reactions. I stick to jojoba, vit E and argan oil.

Oils in general getting in my eye irritate my eyes so I don't like to use them for eye makeup removal.

I'm very happy using miscellar water to remove eye makeup, love bioderma for that, I only buy the small bottle and it lasts about 8 months
