Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

he may be residing there for his own protection

    Nice family.

The father and son who are in prison are wrong 'uns alright but the lad who was stabbed yesterday was sound and well liked in his own area.

I know the fellas he hangs around with as well and they all seem okay, definitely not rough skanger types with long criminal records.

Thought they just would of moved him into a protection wing since thats what they do with every other prisoner who gets a beaten...

He must have a few enemies, Also it could be because they dont want him lashing out at one of hes enemies either maybe its just best for everybody sort of thing...

Honestly. How do these people even become Journalists? So because Peaky Blinders is filmed in Birmingham they're adding a peaky blinders link to the story. Well at least they're being more upfront about writing complete fiction I guess. What a bunch of clowns. Is there any other profession out there that can go from the sublime to the absolute gutter like journalism can?

If Thing assassinates Daniel Kinahan, will the event be referred to as 'The Hand Job'?

It would look that way yeah.
If they got a hint he was passing on information they wouldn't hesitate to murder their own, especially while murders are common place at the moment.
The journalists will always try and link it to the feud.

I wish the hutches would just try and fight back they're all going to get murdered or they should be given 24 hour protection they seem to do nothing!

    I can't agree.
Whilst it is unfair that one side are dominating the other, that's what happens when you take on a billion euro empire with a few family members and over the hill dissos.
If they sent a lone man into Spain or Dubai and whacked DK on the ****ter, I'd don my hat!
But what we saw in February is they don't care about innocents and think a scene from an opening crime movie will catapult them to stardom.

That will never happen. Its just sad at the same time a whole family getting killed.

The mafia always took preventative measures when starting a war.
Everything had to be sanctioned and families were moved offside.
If anything the Monk and his relatives killed their own family with their ignorance.
I agree it is sad though.

If you can't do 50 push-ups, you aren't getting in the ERU.

    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/crime-and-law/row-over-push-ups-delays-recruitment-for-garda-armed-unit-1.2725230

All jokes aside, bit worrying these specialist units can't be deployed without delay.

It is rough and it's unfortunate that his family history means it's not terribly suprising that he would be affected by an act of crime itself.

Here we go again, you like to excuse murder, kidnap, extortion and drug dealing because yes that's right, people who have worked for their money, have a moral high ground greater than that of the scourge of society.

Many times in this thread have you stated that all the criminals behave the way they do because we think they are scum.

    Lord almighty.......

In reality they don't nobody does because nobody has any control over the background they where born into. Whether you want to admit it or not thats just the facts.
Societies prejudices towards them does play a part and I dont care if anyone agrees with me on that or doesn't. And dont almighty to a lord you dont even believe in. People dont even give them a chance they judge them as scum from the day they are born so no I don't blame them one bit for lashing out against society in fact I think they should lash out harder and more often, Maybe the likes of you then wouldn't have such a filthy snobby attitude that you certainly wouldnt have if you where face to face with them...

    Lash out harder against society?
Are you talking about murdering and or committing acts of violence or robbery on innocent people?

You registered to post in this thread, it's easy to see you are a criminal sympathiser and have made many attempts to get this thread closed by asking for names to be posted speculatively.

Ah yes using the old elitist phrase of "criminal sympathizer", well here is nothing criminal about resistance

Anyways back on topic... Re the stars article yesterday basically said the Irish star got a letter from the penguins solicitor/lawyer linking him to the failed attempt at Daniel/Kinahan members in Spain afew weeks ago is not factual and has put him in a dangerous position with hearsay re this feud!

Also more on Irishman caught with gun in Spain ,English police are looking to extradite said male for serious charge but I've found nothing yet on his extradition from Spain think mick has a few more articles about this up his sleeve we'll have to wait and see!

Mick if you would like to add to that please do.

What are they trying to resist exactly ? Paying the taxman ? doing an honest days work ? being caught for their crimes ? YES that's what they are resisting so don't being making them out as some sort of marxist militia movement.

These people couldn't give two ****s about society, on either side. It's about making money as quickly and as easily as possible. If something or someone gets in your way of doing that then you kill them. If someone doesn't pay you who owes you money, then you kill them. Say what you want about the banks but so far they have stopped short of going that far....

So yes.. these people, shining lights of society. Forward thinking neighborly people of inner city Dublin. Fighting back against social injustice and the class system... Or maybe just money hungry, blood thirsty violent thugs who have no value for life unless it's a bounty... yeah I think that's more like it...
