Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hopefully Liverpool can shake the pillars of Heaven today and condemn Sunderland to hell of defeats at Anfield.

Hopefully Joe Brass Balls Allen starts today and puts in a good display.

Sunderland Manager Big Sam should be worried because Sunderland haven't won at Anfield in 15 attempts and failed to score in their last 3 matches against Liverpool. Their missing Beach Ball since he went south to sunnier climates in Spain.

Expecting a dour 0-0, or a Liverpool defeat with an abject performance or an absolute cracker of a game.

It's on Setanta for those you have access, it's on in the pubs also and I suppose your laptop screen could show it.

Think Sunderland could be worth a small punt here @ 8/1, they were vey unlucky against city.

It's still hard to believe we lost that game against Manchester City on Tuesday, but that makes no difference to this game really.

A comfortable 2-0 win for Liverpool without ever having to get out of 3rd gear.

Is this the return of the reverse jinx? If it is, well two can play at that game.

Obvious win for Sunderland on the back of a great performance against a top side. Should be no problem against a mid-table team in a poor run of form with as about as much penetration as a wax needle on a hotplate.

We have been fairly decent at home under klopp don't see us losing this one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,723 ✭✭✭Cartman78

Well I've got Firminio as captain in Fantasy Football so that'll probably undo all the early reverse jinx activity here.

Would be great if we could score early and then run riot

Sky saying Klopp will miss the game due to possible appendicitis. Hopefully he's doing alright.

I'll give this a swerve unless the kids are playing.

Sturridge on the bench, didn't see that coming!

    Allen comes in for Lucas.

Good to see the kids being rested for Tuesday.

Don't know if its true, but I heard Sturridge is only on the bench because he couldn't get a match ticket.

    Cool

Moreno always has so much space. Not because of anything he does, really, but simply because teams know its relatively safe to just leave him off, and cover the rest.

  • Registered Users Posts: 467 ✭✭DaveSuarez

    Mignolet mignoletting already.

It annoys me we called Ward back to sit on the bench, should of let him see out the season with Aberdeen and get some games.

Sunderland following the "how to beat Liverpool" handbook so far.

In fairness he's not helped by the poor runs the rest of the team make. He's the only guy who ever gets in behind. Thats not cause they let him its because he's the only one that trys to. Not that his final ball isn't bloody awful at times too.

Every single ball thats goes into the box is won by a defender. Every ****ing ball.

I was about to say that we always fall apart in the final third, but then I remembered that we're fairly shite everywhere else too.

Thats cause we haven't pulled a cb out of position in what feels like months...

Clyne always plays the pass when in good position . Sometime that pass is just not on, he should be a bit more greedy when in good positions around box.
No one would expect it if he continued his run and shot on goal.

Sam Allardyce is a perfect representation of the city of Sunderland.

    Absolute hole.

I know people hate him but without Moreno we'd literally never ever get in behind the last man. Decent effort for a change too.

He loves getting forward but his decision making is brutal. Could he have squared it there.

How do you get that from todays game? We don't have anyone with any pace up there and two wingers who spend half the game in the middle of the park. They're not windy its just a ridiculous unbalanced side. You can be meh without it being anything to do with bottle or rubbish like that.
