Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just to be clear, he's the best player on the pitch today.

Firmino has been inconsistent but he definitely has something about him. Would look even better with a few better players around him.

    OwaynOTT.

    Never doubted him.

Lovely stuff Firmino, did brilliantly for that goal.

His stats are beginning to look very good
Still has the consistency to come, hopefully.

Well it does look like Sunderland are going to fúck off for poor Paulie, as long as he meant the Championship. Hard to see them getting out of it now given how poor they have generally been. Even Villa are threatening to overtake now.

They started walking out in the 78th minute, not the 77th. It's such a bugbear of mine.

Idiots. They will be paying less for their tickets next season too which makes it even more ridiculous.

What were they chanting ? Love fsg to sell up in the summer

People in the cheap seats determined to save the rich kids a few pound on their 77 pound seats in the new stadium. How noble of them

Away fans being charged almost £50 today.

Why its sending a big message and will be in the papers in the morning.

This makes us Liverpool fans look like complete tits tbh. It infuriates me that some supporters could be so fcuking naive.

    Jesus Mignolet. Sigh.

Seriously? You don't care what prices are? Some people who have sat in seats for 30+ years will have their season ticket prices increased by hundreds. Other prices have gone down yes, but If ticket income was reduced by a few million it would benefit the fans while not hugely reducing the clubs ability to sign or pay players.

Allardyce would have saved that free kick.

Took a flick of the free kick spray and wrong footed Mignolet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,359 ✭✭✭stampydmonkey

What a joke of a keeper....wall was all wrong too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

He was only mouthing off in the paper again the last day. Complete imposter in goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,388 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

    Horrible to see that.

Like many have said there will be more cheaper tickets and only one section of tickets are going up (correct me if I'm wrong) but a lot of fans are getting seriously annoyed over it.

At the end of the day FSG saved the club from Hicks and Gillette who given more time would have bankrupt the club.

Support the team for ****s sake.

Because the bought the tickets anyway? And if they don't others will... all it does is distract the team. Its ridiculous. The demand is there and if you compare it to tickets in some other sports its not exactly extortionate.

It will be the cause of us not winning this game.

It's embarrassing because it's stupid walking out of a match, the ticket prices are the ticket prices.

They paid for 3/4 if a match today.

Mignolet decided to stop playing after 77 minutes as well it seems.

Bring Ward on for the last few mins.

To quote Ian Ayre, who's talking sense for once
It is 200 tickets at £77 for six games a season’

This protest is completely misguided and redundant. They are protesting to reduce hospitality tickets.

Prices have gone bonkers in the last 10 years. How is a young lad supposed to go to a game.

I support the match going fans. Any other position is incorrect imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

I dunno how these 1000's of protesting fans will manage to sit in the 200 seats that are 77.00. Piggy back and one on each knee maybe.

Was that the first shot on target by the opposition going in the net yet again?

Those publicised prices didn't include the hospitality prices.

The only thing embarrassing is some fans not caring how much the club charge for tickets just because they rarely go to games.

That doesnt make it right though. How is a local young fella supposed to be able to pay 50 or 60 quid for a ticket.

With junior prices, which can be got for £10 for a lot of games. Granted there aren't loads of those available but it's no different from any other PL club. Our fans have made a bad mistake today and the piss will be taken out of us all for it.
