Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I take back what I said about Canna, he's as poor as everyone they tried last year.

Ref giving everything to the French.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,931 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

Not sure that was a high tackle but his fingers looked like they were going somewhere they shouldn't be.

Picachu off. Thought he pulled up before making that pass. Hands up if he's in your fantasy team :(

Was trying to decide between him and Parisse.. went with Parisse.. :)

That was clever of France to take it quickly - try looked simple.

How bad is Plisson at kicking that they're sticking with Bezy here?

Neither side seems to have a decent kicker.

    It's desperate, alright.

It's still very loose from France but they do look to have a bit more direction about them than they did last year.

Showing a bit of flair too, but hard to judge against Italy. Strange to see Noves wearing a suit!

Italy offloading a lot, and most of the are sticking. It's not bad to look at, in general.

France are playing the type of rugby people really want to see here.

I desperately hope they do the same next week cos we'll murder them.

    White line fever

Stupid from Campignaro there to try and reach for the line. Should have recycled it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Campagnaro needed to recycle that. What a blistering half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

The replay shows Campagnaro was close enough to try and reach IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,817 ✭✭✭✭bilston

Awww why did Campagnaro stretch there.

Enjoying this! Good to see France back playing French Rugby

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,931 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

Should be 17-13 if the kicks had gone over.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I thought he could have got it, worth going for IMO.

An extra egg for breakfast this morning and he'd have got that extra inch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,817 ✭✭✭✭bilston

I enjoyed that. Wasn't necessarily a great standard but it was a decent watch.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,931 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

Was it not a double movement though, even if he had got it over? Looked like he moved after he was tackled and then reached?

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,508 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Fickou did enough to block his arm from reaching out fully.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,110 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Stadium is silent.

Who does Leonardo Sarto play for? I have vague memories of seeing him play for Zebre at Ravenhill a couple of years ago but I may be wrong about that?

There's a lot of empty seats. Apparently few seats were sold after the November attacks.

Feck blistering start to the second half for Italy!

6 nations needs an Italy side to play well as much as we need France to start playing well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Super try. France are really really soft at defending the maul and it's killing them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

    OMG! French defence not good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,284 ✭✭✭ongarite

    Dreadful from France, amateur defending.

Jackman laying into the French coaching now, he really has some great inside information.

    Italian kicker on form too

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

Some effort by Italy at the moment, France should really be defending better though.

So much for the new France, they look like they couldn't care less.

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,863 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Delighted, Italy getting reward for French headlessness.

    Come on Italy

That should make a good game of it.

How passive is the French defence!

Great stuff from Italy but they have so much time and space.

I was just gonna say the same. Eyebrow raising really

Better for us for France to lose her or get their act together and win?

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 35,508 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Typical first day performance by Italy. By game 5 they'll be back to shipping 60 against Wales.
