Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    It's
    Courtois V DeaGea

    GavRedKing V Lord TSC

Two teams going through a state of flux.

On paper United would be favourites but Chelsea at home can be tough.

If United play like they did against Stoke then I'd expect a comfortable win however I think LVG may decide to put the shackles back on the team and attempt a more defensive approach.

    1 - 1

Can't see United get a result here, they'll try and play for the draw and get stung.

    "Two **** teams"
    "Boring"
    "#negativenellies"
    "Blah blah"

    That cover the neutral input?

Big test this to see how the confidence levels hold up. Chelsea is always tough at the Bridge and Hiddink knows how not to lose!

Hope to see some good attacking intent from the team and Rooney to stand up again and be the difference maker as he has so often been in these type of games. A win here would put the morale through the roof for the first time in a long time! A defeat derails the momentum that is picking up and a draw isn't good enough anymore though it is obviously better then a defeat, marginally.

It's crazy given the state of the league this season that this game has been overlooked by many.

Wouldn't be expecting a huge amount of action in this game but I think Chelsea will grind out a 1-0 win here.

What amazes me is that they find clips of the players and managers with the perfect facial expressions for it!

The face on Wenger is priceless :P

    Predictions for the match:
My heart says 2-1 Utd, as long as Chelsea don't park the bus
I can see Costa pissing someone off, maybe Felleni can soften him up a bit
Need another good performance from Darmian on the right, as with Mata if played at #10
Martial always a threat and Rooney's coming into form at the right time.
Interestingly enough this was the match that derailed us last year. Although our best player at the time was Carrick and he got injured prior to the game.

Martial vs Ivanovic could be tasty. Hopefully Martial gives him nightmares after today.

Not to worry, Ivan won't keep up with the pace of the dream anyways!:pac:
Won't lie, Chelsea need a win.
But a bore 0-0 is the most likely outcome.

(Que Ivan scoring a winner now!)

    4-4.

Smalling and Blind better not fall for Costa's antics. They need to keep a cool head and let their football do the talking.

Have a feeling it'll be a bore draw or narrow Chelsea win. Hopefully wrong.

Fellaini just beat a man, who is this imposter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

It's finally clicked with us an early goal is an advantage.

    Great pressing game so far.

United need to show some urgency, Chelsea look lackluster and that could change.

  • Jackson a real threat

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

How did it take so long for CBJ to get a game. Very calm and class youth prospect.

  • The big fella winning everything midfield

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

Darmian has been taking passing lessons from valencia... Awful

He is only just gone 19 like and I think he was a centre back before.

Refs should just grow a pair and book him. Imagine if Fellaini did it, he would be booked every time.

Its typical United; dominate for 25 minutes and then lose confidence :/
