I want to get this http://www.three.ie/online/voice/prepay/huawei-ascend-g7-black/priceplan/ on the Three website. I'm currently with Tesco and want to stay with them but the phone is dearer with them, if I buy it from Three can I just unlock so my current Tesco sim will work with it? Does unlocking it invalidate any warranty I have with the phone?

Have you tried searching ebay, there are sellers on there who will sell you an unlock code for a fee (depends on phone and network). I have no experience of the service but there are plenty on boards who have unlocked phones in this way.

Other option is to go into a phone repair shop and ask them but the phone will be out of sight while they unlock it. ebay seems a better option IMHO

Ask whoever unlocks it about warranty, some say it's factory unlocked and warranty is still valid, better to check first.
