Hey guys - I currently have a 55" Sony LCD (55ex503u) for the last 4/5 years now. Nothing wrong with it but looking to upgrade to newer model, and maybe 60" if I can. Just wondering what I should be looking for tech-wise, and if anyone knows any good offers at the moment?

Ive had a quick look but there seems to be little on offer at 60", most of them are 55" or 65" for some reason.

    Any help appreciated - thanks!

    HI Slipshaney,

At the minute there is really only one 60" available, which is the Samsung UE60JU6800 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201549-ue60ju6800.aspx at £1399/€1979 - this is a stunning 60" 4K TV with a high refresh rate of 1400PQI.
We currently have this available from our UK warehouse on a 3-5 day service. Pricing includes delivery and our 6 Year guarantee

Another model lower down the range worth considering is the Hisense 58k700 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201786-ltdn58k700xwtse.aspx at £699/€999 - while not on a par with the Samsung, it really is very impressive at the price point for that size of 4k TV

Have a look at the above, and let me know if you have any other queries, or anything else grabs your eye

    Cheers
    Brian

Thanks for that Brian - what about in the 65" field?

How is it that there arent many options at 60 anymore?

To be honest, I'm guessing a lot of the manufacturers seem to have decided there's not enough difference to warrant making so many different size panels in and around 55-65 so have dropped the 60"
Really the samsung and Hisense above seem to be all there is available at the minute

If you did want to go up to 65, there again is a hisense model, the 65K7000 - http://www.richersounds.ie/cssearch.aspx?searchterm=65k700 at £1099/€1569 which is highly impressive at the money for a 65" 4K 3d TV

Up from that you'd be looking at the Samsung 65JU7500 - http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201236-ue65ju7500.aspx at £1999/€2389

    Cheers
