I'm getting a student leap card and will be using the bus and luas. I'll only be travelling 5 days a week so I was wondering what's the cheapest way I can accomplish this.

It will largely depend on what journeys you make.

What would your cash fare be if you use a bus-Luas journey or a bus-only journey?

Do you make any other journeys, e.g. heading into town on the weekend?

Student Dublin Bus Luas Multi mode
    Daily Cap €5.00 €5.00 €7.50
    Weekly Cap (Mon-Sun) €20.00 €18.00 €30.00

Note that pre-paid tickets are also available.
