    Have been pretty ill this weekend and not up to much so bought this for 39.99 knowing CeX were giving 34 cash for it.

    I enjoyed it. Some fantastic set pieces and good characters. Initially I wasn't too excited by the shooting aspects but the second I stopped shooting from behind cover, it became a far more enjoyable game. You can combine your powers very effectively which means you rarely have to find somewhere to hide.

    If you can pick it up cheap over the next 6 months, I think it's worth a purchase.

    Half tempted now to buy it from either Argos or Smyth's for €40.

    Quick question - are the codes for Alan Wake in the box or do you need to get them separately from the retailer?

    I got it on PC for Windows 10 - i wasn't impressed. The eye patch is poorly done it kinda annoys you against the backdrop of some amazing textures and rendering.
