Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That'll come back to haunt Sunderland.

Disgraceful decision from Marriner not to give Kirchhoff a free kick in the middle of the field there. It's hard enough for us against a team as good as Manchester United without having to deal with that utter bollocks too.

Play on, for Christ sake. Idiotic from the United players.

Michael Owen: "I think that was a missed chance"

    No fúcking shít Michael.

Yea, It's like they just texted someone they shouldn't have.

Kirchhoff, our best player over the last couple of weeks, goes off injured. Typical, but it can't be called back luck when he had such a poor injury record coming in. You buy injury prone players, they get injured.

Jack Rodwell, the most cowardly player in the league, comes in. FFS.

"Let's do this for Johnson" cry a section of the Sunderland fans....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Sunderland dominating like the only way they know how to.

  • Fs Darmian first time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,595 ✭✭✭✭Trigger

3 crosses in a row from Darmian that have been shockingly bad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Too late Darmian ffs

If this ends with Sunderland leadingI don't see how they can lose.

Sunderland are virtually down to 10 men with Rodwell on the field. Look at his movement and positioning. If you keep an eye on him, you'll see him actively trying to avoid getting on the ball or near the action. It's horrible to watch.

The difference between him and Kirchhoff is night and day and Sunderland's system simply won't work with Rodwell as his replacement.

I can't see utd not coming back to win this, although utd have allowed them a few chances as well.

Marriner has been a disgrace so far. He has rode Sunderland senseless.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Carrick always looks so slow on the ball when he's aggressively pressed.

  • Correct call ref

Take Carrick out of the game and united are bereft, Schneiderlin is poor on the ball.

Sunderland showing more hunger so far, pressing Utd not giving no time on the ball

If Utd don't win this someone will surely say something about their Top 4 chance having gone down the Khazri

Should have been a free on the halfway and a card for Darmian. Not a penalty though for the handball.

  • Lol Owen

Defence has been a shambles today for united

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

The movement from Man United around the edge of the Sunderland box is horrendously bad.

  • Mata should have done better imo

Lingard is out of position constantly.

United don't deserve a top four spot.

Darmian is turning in to a sick note. It's the Unite curse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,371 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Yeah Andre, a 50-50 after the ball had been played and Khazri cleans him out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

    Darmian was horrendous today anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Marriner is a bad ref.

He's easily the worst in the league by some distance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,193 ✭✭✭✭Kerrydude1981

    Lovely finish
