Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That is such a delicate touch. The height he got was perfect but that angle was tight!

Ah well, that's that. No chance of Sunderland winning now which is the only result that is good enough today.

Off to do something else with my weekend as opposed to letting these useless **** ruin it again.

Keeper has to push that around the post for me. It was an easy save. Poor keeping for me. Some touch my martial though.

Trevor Francis is the worst commentator ever.

Some achievement considering Michael Owen and Robbie Savage exist.

Why don't United just put corners into the box ridiculous.

This is a real annoyance for me. You send players forward and you don't even give them a chance because once the ball goes live and you play it short, you kill the opportunity to put some pressure on the defenders.

We put plenty of corners into the box, still **** at them.

The short corners can work also, we have scored from a couple of them too, we just aren't very good at corners in general but I don't mind a mix of direct and short.

Lingard's all around game is not good enough.

He would struggle to make the Sunderland team, which just goes to show how poor our transfers have been in the last few years. He even caused the Darmian injury with a terrible hospital pass.

He has some really good points. But he is way too weak and is easily dispossessed as a result.

    It's negative but it's true.

Sunderland, even with an unlikely point today, would be 3 points behind Newcastle (who I discount from the relegation race as I feel they'll be fine due to their recent additions, you'll disagree and that's fair enough), 4 behind Swansea (5 when goal difference is accounted for), 5 behind Bournemouth (6 when goal difference is accounted for) and 6 behind West Brom (7 when goal difference is accounted for), with all of the aforementioned having an extra game to play. If Sunderland lose today, add an extra point to the above totals.

26 games in now and Sunderland have a terrible run-in. The game is up unless they start winning games very, very quickly. Regardless of who the opposition is, points are needed not just performances, and the statistics clearly show that Sunderland are far more likely to go on to lose a game when the scores are level than win it.

I'd love to have the chance to be more positive but I'd prefer to call a spade a spade to be honest and this team deserve to be called out.

Hard to see Sunderland getting anything here. Missed a big chance to make things more comfortable for themselves shortly after they scored, and the injury took the wind out of their sails. Also looked wrecked after about 30 mins of pressing.

No need to just hack him down Rooney ffs. Just track him back.

This is something he really needs to cut out of his game. Some people call it passion/dedication or what have you but it's a nasty streak to his game that he really hasn't addressed over the years.

The focus BT have on the referee and refereeing decisions is infuriating. It's like 90 minutes of analysing the ref with a side portion of football.

And Howard Webb's "contribution" is really pointless.

I don't particularly care what Howard Webb thinks of a refereeing decision based on a load of replays, I have eyes too Howard.

The attempt by the BT sports team to create controversy is hilarious. That Rooney handball was a nothing incident.
