Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know myself with the spec difference, the last one had nothing and this has everything. Roscommon reg is the only compromise :D

Surprised you found one like that with an RN reg, someone must have sold a few sites back in 06 before the sh1t hit the fan!

Normally if you're after a Vag saloon down this way you do what every self respecting Rossie does and buy a Passat or octavia with a towbar :P

I’ve always wondered how that worked! Presumed it was vacuum

It is a vacuum! A flat head attachment for the end of it. I do it all the time with my seats and floor. Then someone has to sit in and mess it all up

Sure you can't see that when you're driving so why worry about it? :D:pac:

    Original Irish Roscommon car too!

Finding a non-S line car with good spec is really not easy so I got lucky with this. Its missing a few small things that I can live without but the main things are there.

Its amazing how a bit of leather and wood trim can transform the interior though. Feels like a different car altogether in comparison to the greys and blacks of the old one

Vintage - whatever way you took that picture is looks like a diecast model :D

    Maybe it is! :)

It's this phone I have, Huawei P9, it does some weird focus thing to try and give depth of field.

Still think it’s mad (and very very cool) that you got rid of the Golf R for what most people see as an old BMW.

I’m sure if you told your average wannabe car enthusiast they would think you were off your trolley.

I think it’s deadly. What a cool cool car.

I am telling you, E30's are the next classic IMHO, e30 m3's have already gone astronomical to buy. Good ones are getting very hard to come by, and those of the vintage to be nostalgic for them are beginning to have a bit of money. The shape is great, and they are real analogue machines. The e36 will be next.

You can change the focus settings when out of automatic to reduce the blurred background(depth of field)

E36 have begun the rise. Trying to find a decent and clean 6 cylinder in m sport trim for less than £3k is getting hard especially the 328i.

Collected my A4 this morning. Its an S-Line 1.4TFSi Daytona Grey Pearl Effect paint. Extras over the usual S-Line spec include; high beam assist, storage pack, MMI nav plus with Audi Connect, Virtual cockpit, Electric folding mirrors, Flat bottomed steering wheel, drive select think I am forgetting something else as well. Love the car.

Nope but there is only 25k km on it one owner spotless. Let some one else deal with some of the deprecation first.

    Hi all!!

Said I would show my face in here again, bought an Octavia of late as a run around while the e36 comes off the road to under go surgery to go faster at the Nurburgring in 2018/2019, yes it's become a problem for me now :D

Anyway I picked up some cheap wheels to try clean it up a bit, might even get a wash if it's lucky.

    439308.jpg

The e36 is parked up awaiting funding to go ahead with planned work.
    439309.jpg

Has anything changed in here at all?

The adjustable part on the bottom part of the seat on the Audi A4, why don't more cars have this! Some of us have long legs and don't want to spend €2k on leather electric seats that tilt up :(

    Looks nice, enjoy :)

After 8 months of waiting got this fella yesterday.

Over the moon with it - 1.4 TSI DSG

Went a bit mad with the extras, sunroof, electric boot, paddles, sound system, park assist and a couple of others

Hard to make out in the pic but it’s brown not black

Drove Shietpilots E36 yesterday. What a fantastic car. He's done a tremendous job on it from when he bought it.

It's a proper '90's driving car and there's little in the way of gadgets. I can see the appeal of them :)
