Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its only the 1.0 TSi 95ps manual. It won't win any drag races but its perfectly adequate for every day driving. In comparison to the old 1.4 TDi she had its a massive step up. The 115 was the one i wanted but it was a long wait (up up 8 months we were told). I drove a 150 too but only around the city, i'd like to get one on a longer spin. It seems to be doing around 5.9/100kms on her commute, 48 mpg, hoping it will get better as the engine breaks in.

They look much better than the Ibiza I had back in 1999 lol
Friend of mine bought a red one for his son and it’s doing 40 mpg which I was surprised at, great looking super mini and the touch screen is a nice touch
    Best of luck with it

They're the car I grew up in! My dad also had a van version for his work, the gearstick will always be the thing I think of when I see one. Great memories.

So it's at the garage now who will be handling the entire saga with the uninsured driver plus the repair.
This won't start till after Easter so counting a 4 week timeframe for the entire thing.
Problem is that the car looks worse in person than the picture.
Damage is quite heavy and I'm afraid they will push to write it off which will leave me heavily out of pocket.
    Still can't believe it tbh

Sorry to hear of it bear, and an uninsured driver.. time for something to happen with the insurance industry.. so many uninsured clowns going around. Needs to be a govt backed scheme to eliminate this. Hope you get it sorted.

Ecoboost. The V8 has a V shape in the front upper and lower grilles.

Wifes car was well overdue a replacement so picked this up for a handy enough price. Few nice options - m-sport seats, sports auto, wheel upgrade, reversing camera. Unfortunately it's another white car but secondhand it's the luck of the draw. Pretty much minty mint too.

Colm, colm, colm...wifey is happy in the idea that she's got the fancy car. Means mine is safe as given the choice she'll go for the BMW. I can rest easy, life is good again.

Just need to get a crime scene clean up gang out to sort out the Civic and stick it on dung deal.

Yeah, running fairly well now too in fairness. Bit of a spit and polish and it's gonna be a grand car for someone.

Funny and sad at the same time, I parked beside this sorry state of a 7 series today. It was the flagship equivalent of a battered farmers Avensis you'd see parked inside a cattleshed.

It was absolutely destroyed all over with dents, scuffs, the right side banged in, a broken headlight and the interior jammed with junk.
Funny thing is he was parked the same way I was, way over to the side of the space to avoid dings. :D
