Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm guessing it's the 2.3. The 5L has a "GT" badge on the back instead of the horsey symbol. Don't ask me how I know that :pac:

Very cool looking car, brave colour choice, kudus to your 'ol man.

After a hasty thread yesterday, here's the latest edition to the fanboi fleet. After yet another epic failure of the sisters Yaris through the NCT, I had 28 days to sort her out with something, cheap, cheerful, cheap, reliable and cheap. Did I say cheap?

Picked this up yesterday, a bit hastily. 5 months NCT and 7 months tax for a shade over €1k. A mixed bag or service history and 3 keys. Drove it from Cork to Wicklow yesterday and it was faultless and suprisingly economical. I brimmed it in Cork and have put 315km on it and it still reads 3/4 full (maybe the gauge is faulty :pac).

A 1.1? That beige combination is rear, looks well though. Is some of it leather?

Is that a pop art 206? There was some special edition 206 with nice seats.

What age is he, if you don't mind me asking. From my experience older people generally start to loose interest in cars, obviously not the case here!

It's an "x-design", the outsides of the seats are like denim.

Cool little car imo. Fit and finish is fairly good, very little road noise and much more comfortable than the Yaris. All it has to do to impress me now is be somewhat reliable.

Feel kinda sad to be retiring the Yaris at the tender mileage of just 140k though tbh, it's the end of an era for that car, it's been with the family a long time. It's taken a lot of punishment with relative ease and I will be sad to see it go.

Yeah, JoeA3 got it, it's the 2.3 turbo. 310bhp which is plenty to get the arse out and have a bit of fun.

I'm almost certain it could be remapped to only a fraction off the bhp of the V8.

Be careful what you ask for. A beep to someone else could be something entirely non car related

Looks lovely, I know if it was mine I'd have it a tad lower, and probably get some spacers for the rear wheels. That and a DA polish!

The rear wheels look a bit lost alright, the DA polish will prob be next, but i'm leaning towards a stainless exhaust before anything else, as the car sounds like a prius, and see how it fairs after that..

I love the wheels and the rear lights. I had an is200 a few years ago and loved it, everytime I see one of those is250s I always think mmmm I want one

I've always been a vag man :D so this is my first Jap model.. i do miss the turbo for the low revs, but the 250 is a lot more pleasurable and relaxing, also less likely to have my license taken off me ;)
