Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lovely colour and not too common either.

As much as I love it I would have preferred a lighter shade. Spec is awesome though.

An auld buck reversed into me a few weeks back so broke both top and bottom grills but somehow managed not to damage the bumper! The bumper has to come off to replace the top grille so while it was off I decided to fit a splitter and blackout the middle section of the bumper. Got it done locally by a crash repair guy and Im delighted with the outcome

Cheers for all the positive comments folks. I'll wash it tomorrow and stick up some of the entire car as I have the skirts and rear bumper with the diffuser. Next plan is to get the wheels refurbed as they have some kerb marks but that will have to wait until 2019 or the wife will leave me!

Purchased a couple weeks ago, Lexus IS200D F Sport. Yeah not the most exciting engine by any stretch but at least I can insure it, (should really have kept an insurance policy going while I was out of the country, lesson learned!). I adore the colour. Great place to be sat in too. Plan is to keep this til I build up the no claims another bit and look for a 250 version in blue.

Nice car, great colour, what’s the badge on the boot?
Is it the 20 years cebration thing? (Free f sport pack with sel models)

When did the IS220d become the IS200d?

It looks very like the current model IS from the front

I hazard a guess this IS has a more reliable diesel then then the 220d

200 came out in 2010, it’s still the same engine, just detuned - and all the better for it IMO.

It's the only colour I'd have bought one of these in. Fell in love with it when I saw it. Yeah the 20 year celebration badge, not a fan of it but it's fairly inoffensive at the same time.

The 220D engine code is 2AD-FHV and the 200D is 2AD-FTV. Both 2.2 litre, don't think there's any real difference in the engines bar power. The 200d is 148hp in comparison to the 177 of the 220s.

The daytime running lights give it so much more presence on the road in my opinion. I much prefer the way they're integrated into the headlight housing here as opposed to having them separate in the current generation IS.

To be honest I agree with you (and a friend of mine actually had his car cloned from the street)

But I suppose with it being d'internet , it naturally makes people a bit more suspicious and protective about showing information which can be hidden.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,592 ✭✭✭tossy

It's all tin foil hat nonsense to be honest. If someone wants an A6 reg they just need to go on any car classified site or visit a dealer and kick tyres.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,830 ✭✭✭masterboy123

Well, the reason why I blurred reg is to keep my identity 'kind of' hidden on boards.

Nope, after spending 4 years building it to that from scratch,
had to sell to fund new house build project

Not a ps13 dude, you need to brush up on your schassis.
However I didn't trade it for an A6, and I traded it for a berlingo and a 2storey house.
    Traded berlingo for a6

What are those Ioniqs like? Heard they're a decent ould boat, nice to get the electric car that looks normal and has the new reg plate.

They are decent enough for a bland korean econobox, great thread over on the EV forum about them.

Is your BMW a diesel? I hope it is because otherwise you are going to look silly if it's petrol. No one drives petrol these days :pac::pac:
I tried to find a petrol BMW here and I had to go all the way back to page 166.

Looks normal?? .... That's very very subjective.
