Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Everyone is asking that question, motorcheck say it's always been irish with history of every owner.
I assume it got a boot at some stage due to the e39's rusty boot isses!

    It's quirky though I like it :)

perhaps it was shunted in the rear in the past?

perhaps it was shunted in the rear in the past?

If that was the case it would have been repaired using the same style of boot as it already had.

More than likely the previous owner preferred this style of boot and replaced it. It looks better anyway.

The mondeo is the 2 litre 140bhp

Getting the rear tints this week

what are you on about? I questioned the possibility that the car was rear shunted and just mentioned I preferred the original boot.

Not really a big issue, I would have thought:confused:

Once again it's amazing that this carry on is continued to be allowed especially so blatantly. I said it before and got banned soon after butt why haven't the mods done something about this?

Ah the mighty Puglet, how you do make me ever so happy. She's now gone almost two weeks and nothing has broken, talk about a large step for this wee car. Then again, nobody drives a 20 year old French hatchback hard expecting bullet-proof reliability. Shes got a fair amount of driving under its belt the past few weeks. Managed to slip away from a big car meet today for a bitta backroads driving with a few buddies. Swift GTi and a Supercharged Golf GTi. Also, I've finally got round to sorting the car's mundane looks. Found a pair of ex-Mark Higgins XSi bumpers going for very small money. Short phone call and 4 hours later I was left pinned to the windscreen with a 106 full of bumpers and other goodies. Front bolted on straight away, but the rear's gonna take a bitta work yet before it's up to spec

I plan on getting it as close to "mint :D" as possible and leave it at that :)

All about that weight reduction tho!! 3 stud is such a madly French idea. 3x98 Stud pattern on 135 profile tyres. The wheels I have on them at the minute are from a Citroen AX GT, but even trying to find a set of steels was about a week of searching
