Tesco not display nutrient information

I was in tesco the other day, and as i was doing my shopping I noticed they had had no nutrient information on hot cross buns and pancakes. I couldn't tell the calories, sugar ect in the products before I bought them. Surely this can't be legal ?

I had a look at the FSAI's website and it looks like nutrient labelling on most pre-packed foods is only mandatory from 13 Dec 2016.
