Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Have a vague recollection of him because of his apperance. Looked him up on Wikipedia and saw he scored a fair amount of goals for a defender, apparently something of a long-range specialist.

    Can't link cos I'm on my mobile but look up his goal against Wales on Youtube, it's a cracker.

    Himself, Letchkov, Stoickov and the bald goalkeeper who wore a toupee are the four players i remember from that Bulgarian side. Like the above poster, always remembered him for the beard. Looked like a werewolf.

    I can recall Jimmy McGee commenting he had the look of a lad you wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley.

    Always like him, especially against the Germans.

    That Bulgaria team of 94 had a hardness, but yet a brilliance about them.
    Stoichkov could spend 89 minutes complaining and bitching, but could set up a goal out of nothing.

    Letchkov was another key player, also with a bit of an attitude.
