Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You'd almost feel bad for Villa. As Turty said during the week, they're two of the three games Sturridge will start all year.

Coutinho assist. Sturridge goal. In a nutshell what Liverpool have been missing for most of the season.

I forgive you all your sins Danny.

Looks like Klippty's tough love approach is working.

    Sakho gets the ball there

The outside to in movements from the Liverpool forward players are nice, though the front 3 does look like one that hasn't started a game together yet, that cohesion not right there at the moment but there's encouraging signs.

Lescot could use his forehead for advertising
The publicity would be huge not just for the advert but for the headlines around the world at the strangeness of it.
Could easily fit ADIDAS or NIKE Just Do It on there.

Match feels like it is being played in a morgue. You can't blame Villa fans for being so depressed though.

    That shot was going Westward.

Everything about that goal, from the conceding of the free kick to the ball going into the net, sums up nicely why Aston Villa are getting relegated.

Buy orange juice. I've seen the crop report and it has been a bad harvest this year.

Jesus lads if we keep everyone fit, playing at top form, concede less and score more than the opposition in every game, I feel next year is definitely our year.
Our year to follow up our league win this year with a repeat next year.

Imagine if Liverpool were actually arsed how many we could win by today? Should be 3 now.

Villa are dreadful but to be fair to Liverpool they are playing excellent stuff. Loved how they took advantage of the space left by Richards there. Sign of a team with a top coach that they consistently recognise and target little things like that throughout a game.

Win in the bag now, no way we'll throw away a two goal lead to relegation fodder

Harsh that they don't seem that arsed? I don't think so. No pace about the game, and Villa are so demoralised they don't need to do more than they are, but it's far from the most energetic I've seen us.

I can't think of a time we've ever done that to be fair.

    ?

Look in total control to me, playing really well. Making chances. 33 mins, 2-0 up? Not bad.

I want to make a joke about how it would probably be a draw at worst, but I don't want to anger Mr. Glass' god.

I still think that this Liverpool team need to be about 4 ahead, maybe 5 before we can slack off. If Stoke can score 6 against us, anybody can

We haven't been bad, and I'm not criticising them, but it really is the epitome of a not needing to get out of second gear performance.

Foul on Firmino as he played it in.

Baby steps. We've just got a decent first team back together. Im delighted, really enjoying this and see more (Liverpool) goals in it.
