Much more like it for Liverpool, Firminho, Coutinho and Sturridge look very bright and thriving having been given greater freedom to roam.

- Sturridge playing (and scoring!)
- Fluidity between Coutinho, Firmino and Sturridge up top
- Decent passing, etc - we look calm all over the pitch for the first time in ages

Was nice to Henderson look quite annoyed when Clyne overplayed a pass at 2-0 up. They want more and more - always good to see.

But, must temper any expectations - Villa are the worst side in the league by some margin. Nobody else will give this much space to the front three.

If we get a 3rd shortly after half time, I'd take out Coutinho and Sturridge. Fitness is key with the League Cup final just weeks away and the Europa back - we can't afford to lose players and be down to a thin squad again.

Would like to see Origi, Benteke and maybe Stewart in the team.

BUT, most important thing is to secure the 3 points.

my favourtie moment of the game so far was when Moreno whipped that good ball across the face of the goal after Coutinhos amazing pass and Danny put his head in his hands cause he knew he should have been bursting a gut to get into the middle of the goal. Those runs will come with fitness... or else not cause he's injured again bringing out the bins tonight.
