Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I do like how some Villa fans left only after the sixth goal. 0-5 was stomach-able, but six was the final straw...

Would really ruin this if Villa got a consolation.

Yeah winning 6-1 is such a **** result.

They may as well get the points if they score a consolation goal.

Never in my life have I heard Alan Hutton referred to as a 'silver lining'.

Is that how bad it has gotten for Villa?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Even Lescott wants to play for us!

Was just about to post this. He responsible or did we just take our foot off the gas?

    Coutinho and Firmino both off.

Foot well and truly off the gas, nobody sending the ball forward.

Unfortunate for Benteke as it would have been a good game for him to end his barren run.

Villa has looked a lot more dangerous since he came on.

I think the aggregate only counts against the Europa opposition you score against IIRC

The important thing about this win is that it gets us to the 38 point mark. Means we're staying up for another season!

Black Andy is killing our momentum.

That was some pass by coutinho for the origi goal. Having players in front of him with movement makes such a difference.

Yes and to win it must give us a fighting chance
Yes it will take a run of 5 straight wins but we have the tools now to give us a slim chance of top 4.

Careful - no way Sturridge is going to survive that without a torn something

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Some Villa fans cheer the team they're playing against, he might have had a good day.

Jolean Lescott in trouble on twitter after posting a picture of a £125,000 sports car after the defeat.

There were a number of villa 'fans' looking for 'their' team to lose a league game to help prevent Liverpool having a shot at winning the league in 2013/14.

He isn't the only one that remembers it.

Hoist by their own petard is the expression that springs to mind.

You do realise Liverpool have beaten Villa twice since then. So a few more goals automatically means some sort of 2 year old, internet karma against a small number of online users can be activated? Extremely sad really to be honest.

What's sad is a teams 'supporters' hoping their team would lose so another team would be prevented from trying for a title.

Contrast that with Liverpool supporters looking for their team to win against Blackburn despite that win possibly leading their biggest rivals to win the title because of that win.

I simply cannot understand those 'supporters' hoping for their team to lose ANY game. So yeah, I enjoy Karma biting them on the ass.

Villas other supporters, not so much.

Nothing against villa, I quite liked the club, actually.

Don't forget some were also more interested last season in hosting a bday for Stevie G than the cup final :p

Liverpool supporters are possibly the saddest bunch of supports in football, are they really ones to throw stones, I could find a list of pathetic comments posted in the aul Liverpool forum to find **** fans easily
