It was a penalty; it was a stupid lunge by Monreal, and he doesn't get the ball. As Henry said just now, it's not up to Vardy to hurdle the challenge. 99% of players would do exactly the same, BUT... playshouldn't have developed to the point where the tackle took place. How the fcuk Morgan wasn't penalised for jumping all over Ozil is a mystery.

Are you blind? He actually changes his running line to run into the tackle. If he follows the ball he doesn't have to hurdle anything. Christ.

It was a foul for me by Monreal on Vardy. Atkinson has been inconsistent in the first half, some correct calls like the awarding of the penalty but he has missed quite a few things for both sides. Atkinson being,inconsistent is miles better than what is his usual level,which is consistently crap.
