Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spurs will need to show up if they're to get anything from this. Toure/Silva/Ageuro/Kompany first time back together again since August? Mental.

That should have been a yellow. Bad challenge from behind.

City have missed De Bruyne more than they missed Silva imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

toure should be off by now getting away with murder

    Fernando even worse

Kyle Walker is so average. The big weak link in this Spurs team IMO.

I've never rated him as a defender, and couldn't understand the hype around him. He's quick alright, but he has zero positional awareness and often relies on his pace to get him out of trouble. Once he begins to lose that pace, his top flight career will be over. Back to the game, it could go either way. Spurs bossing possession, but we've had more corners and attempts on goal. Wouldn't like to call it at this stage.

    Kane is not able today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Even so far, both would probably be content with a draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    That was shíte.

If Spurs felt like passing the ball forward, they might actually score.

    It's indirect nonsense.

City look more dangerous despite Spurs' 'domination'.

    Dreadful match so far.
Spurs the only side half interested in playing football, city afraid of their lives of conceding after last week's hiding.

I doubt that, certainly City wouldn't be. With Arsenal winning, we need the three points to hang on to their shirt tails.

Instead of going forward, this has looked like a side on the slide this season, it's become so much about finding moments of individual brilliance rather than the sum of the team being greater than individual parts.

Finally a small chance. Aguero should have done much better.

    Lovely stuff.

Is it deliberate?? Hits his arm alright but hardly mean to stop the ball

    Good man Kane.

Poor decision. The ball deflects from his body onto his arm.How the hell can a player stop that from happening.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Actually that was a poor decision.

Might see city come out flying now. Should make the game more exciting anyway

Good man kane, first goalscorer bet in nicely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

That's 3 poor decisions Spurs have benefitted from against us this season. And they say these things even themselves out over the season. They do, my hole.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

harsh peno but ill take it

Surely having a shot is playing advantage?

I was thinking to myself if Hart dives for this he is an idiot.
I called it, I knew he would just go down the middle.
In these circumstances of huge pressure a goal keeper should always wait and try save.
He could of simply caught it had he stood tall.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Very unlucky on yaya. What an attempt.

To be fair handball seems to vary greatly between referees

If it didn't hit his arm it would have gone into the box so it could be argued he gained an advantage from it

Have seen them not given before

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

    well done wimmer

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

It hasn't even hit his arm, it's come off his back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,480 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Seem to hit he side no handball at all there. Great defending by Sterling.
Its poor when great defending is punished by a ref.

Yes, I'm biased. But watching those replays again, never ever was that that a penalty. An abysmal decision from (supposedly) the best ref in the PL. We keep getting these poor decisions though; remeber Stones' blatant late foul on Sterling and the non awarding of the penalty?

But this is Clattenburgh who's reffing. You can always depend on him having at least 1 blunder per game:mad:
