Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

tommy carroll looks like he is coming on - hopefully for eriksen who has been pushed off the ball too easy

Man City shouldn't give the ball back.

That was fiercely prickish of Rose.

City are so fractured, atletico could rip them apart.

Rose acting the gobsh1te there. Not kicking the ball out until he runs 20 yards up the pitch. I hope karma pays him a visit before FT.

50 million for sterling really was a great deal for Liverpool. Really average player

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

City didn't kick it out for Kane, why should rose? I really hate that ****e, play on unless the ref stops it.

    Class from Lamela, great sub.

Never offside there Aguero. officials influencing this game as well. No way Spurs deserve to be winning this.

Another week, and I'm back again talking about how utterly woeful City are at the turnover. Seriously look at the positions they are in when they lose the ball, look at the reaction from the players when they lose the ball. When you wonder why Pellegrini is losing his job, that's it right there, every week.

Otamendi is a really awful defender.

crapping myself here.. blow it up ref!

Kompany pulling his usual stunt of being caught 2 yards behind where he should be on the 2nd Spurs goal.

Of course Otamendei will probably get most of the blame though.

    Kompany gets away with murder.

I don't think you need to. The wind has gone from City's sails.

Lloris with a great touch to deny Aguero an almost certain goal.

Spurs looking more and more like the real deal. Got lucky with the first goal which was never a penalty, but they deserve the victory overall.

The ref's had a shocker, no two ways about it. Ah well; well done to Spurs. Arsenal to win the PL though.

what an unexpected and indeed epic win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

What a huge huge win for Spurs. They are just such a well drilled side and run for everything.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

City lose again at home once again to anyone who tries a bit.
Desperate performance but they don't look too bothered either way.
They are still in contention for 4 trophies tho

They must be favourites now but I wouldn't bet on Arsenal, I thought they got very lucky today. Still wide open I hope Leicester do it and they still could.

Big win, City's atrocious record against top teams this season continues, 3 out of a possible 24 I think it is. A side in serious need of a revamp.

Meanwhile Spurs did great there, not as particularly thrilling go forward as usual but they kept the ball for long spells and they really upset City's build up when they didn't have the ball. I actually thought Spurs were really poor on the counter attack today but so bad are City when there's a turnover that Spurs did take advantage.

Not easy when you're playing against 12 men, to be honest. I would have said a draw would have been a fair result; Spurs didn't have that many attempts on our goal during the game. We huffed and puffed in the second half, without ever looking really threatening. We've been inconsistent all season, to be honest. To be honest, we don't deserve to win the league. I'd love to see Leicester win it now, but I think Arsenal will win it. By the way; sarcasm isn't a great way to make a point.

Leicester has to only play 13 games more whereas Spurs are still in both FA and Europa cup. They will need to collapse mentally not to win this. I'll equally root for Leicester for the league. They have shown great character (using fecking Rodgers phrase). Fairy tale stuff IMO.

Arsenal will sooner or later will go to their an annual unbeaten run to finish the season.
