Horizon Box ver. 1 CEC? Sound bar setup.

Does anybody know if the Horizon Box (ver. 1) supports CEC? I am getting seriously annoyed that I cannot get the box working with TV and sound bar as I cannot get sound through HDMI but have to revert to the optical cable for the Horizon box (this indeed works). Blue Ray player works fine via HDMI ARC.

The absolute stupid thing about this is that I also looped the box through the sound bar via HDMI but I get no sound. Only optical works.

At least I am able to control volume with one remote..... but switching audio input on the sound bar when switching input devices is annoying.

Not sure of your setup but I use a sound bar with the Horizon box and it works fine. Have you checked the audio output settings on the box.

Have a Horizon box plugged into an amplified via HDMI and no probs whatsoever.
