    Hi Everyone,

A quick query I'm applying for Amateur Status with SJI this year. They have asked me to fill out a application form, stating
"Why I should be considered for amateur approval?"

If anyone else has applied for Amateur Status, can ye send on any suggestions.

    Cheers

Just say: "I would like to compete in amateur classes this year and aim for the RDS qualifiers".

If you only have one horse registered with the SJI mention this as well.

I'd mention you don't earn a living from horses (assuming you don't!) I think that's a key point to include if you want to be an amateur!
