Coils for Aerotank mega?

Its either

UPGRADED REPLACEMENT DUAL COIL HEAD

KANGER VOCC SINGLE COIL REPLACEMENT HEAD

Some say cotton is better some dont

Ive been browsing the net and i came across a video saying avoid coils that use nickel, do any of these have nickel in them? Supposedly dangerous.

Cotton is better than what, most coils use cotton, very few are different, like the old aspire BVC coils were some ceramic or something.

As for nickel, they will be called nickel or Ni200 coils, most brand use a blue band along the bottom to identify them

Nickel NEEDS to be used in temperature control. Using normal wattage mode may cause it to degrade into the wicking material, which could indeed be dangerous.

If you want to post link s I can have a look at the first one.

But in the second, VOCC stands for vertical organic cotton coil.

The coil material is probably kanthal in both, and the wicking materical cotton, certainly in the second.

I don't have that tank to know if they are compatible.

Both coils are good,the first link has ceramic & the second link has cotton,nothing wrong with either of these coils.
The advantage of using ceramic coils is the cleaning of it which can be dry burned & washed to make the coil last alot longer.
I have never tried the cotton coils but you cannot dry burn cotton or it will burn the cotton.
Me personally would go for the ceramic,others would go for the cotton because of a better taste maybe.
It's just a personal choice...

see this is the reason i asked, last week i started vaping using an old aspire bvc coil that i hadn't opened for my mini natilus.

A few days later i came across posts saying its supposedly ceramic (fibreglass) & dangerous. RIPtrippers made a video about it & it scared people, anyway.

This is the reason im getting the aerotank and dumping my aspire mini, aerotank mite be inferior but fuk dont want to risk it

I've been using those coils for over 3 years & the silica wick is dead on,been using silica wicks 7 years now with no probs.
If your not happy using them,then go for the cotton coils,you have 5 resistance options to choose from...

Neither of those coils you mention have Nickel and are suitable for standard power vaping only.

I see that a kanger subtank is compatible with that coil,I wouldn't have thought so but it is on the list of clearo's,must be a mistake by Bestshop,have a looksie...
