    I guess the right to" bare arms" is finally going to have to be discussed in Ireland after an election canditate is making it an issue.:pac:

    There's so much incorrect nonsense in that press release that it'd be funny if it wasn't making us into a target for the smaller no-hoper candidates. Bad enough when Healy Rae did it; but does anyone really think Finian shouting stupid incorrect nonsense on one side of the tabloids while the others shout equally stupid and incorrect nonsense on the other would do us any good? It'd scare the trousers off the general public, we'd get compared to (and confused with) the current gang violence outbreak and we'd be facing bans in short order. This is how pistols got banned in the UK - Blair trying to outdo the tories in an election stunt. These people are not on our side and had no interest in us until this week.

    All that said, this still is an RKBA discussion, even if it's been started by a candidate trying for publicity - take it to the Politics forum please folks.
