Advanced Entry from another college

    Hi im just looking for some advice :)

    I am currently in 1st year in college but applied to transfer into 2nd year of the optometry course in DIT. I was just wondering did anyone else transfer colleges directly into 2nd year and if so did you have a hard time making new friends as everyone else already knew each other? I know for a fact in the optometry course they only accept 20 people so if I am lucky enough to get accepted everyone will know each other very well.

    Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated :

    Did they get back to you, or give some indication of when they'll be letting people know if they got in? As I'm aware, it's on a rolling-basis, so there's not a specific date we find out. I also applied via Advanced Entry, but as I'm a second year at another I.T applying for the third year of a similar course at DIT I'm somewhat sceptical. Fingers crossed though eh? :pac:
