I would send them the specifications and get it in writing that it's acceptable.

Lots of commercial premises use electronic locks but get it in writing.

Imo it does look a bit diy, I would look for something that conformed to some standards like BS etc

Can your door take a euro cylinder, we used Salto cylinders on a block of apartments with no issues
