Any hunting Boardsies in the general Cavan area might be interested in the Ballinagh &Crossdoney gun club's "Game night".
This coming Saturday at 9.30 in the Shantully Inn, Crossdoney. All welcome and a chance to sample game of many types. Last year they had venison, boar, phasent, goose, duck, rabbit, hare etc. All cooked a variety of ways and very tasty.

Cass, sorry just saw your post there now.
It was a real success. About 120 people attended and all the food went this year.
Boar, venison, hare and rabbit, pheasent and duck, partridge and snipe. Roasted, stuffed, barbecued, curried, any way you can think of.
Super night, attended by all ages.

Very professional looking - I think this is one of the best ways for clubs to built up positive relations with the community.

After a tasting night like this some of the people who attend, who have no interest in shooting, will understand why you do it after this.
