Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The silence and lack of backing from the club about his job is an obvious sign. They aren't announcing it cause they don't want the players to dip knowing they don't need to impress him anymore

They have 78,000 in OT to impress despite their lack of belief in the manager. At least they should be professional and see the season out on a high.

Van Gaal is gone IMO. I'd pay no heed to the lip service he's providing.

We are going through his final days as the boss. I'd expect an announcement on Mourhino before the FA cup final.

I reckon hes gone but would expect they wouldn't announce anything in build up to cup final.

Let LVG go out on a high(hopefully) and announce Jose as manager the following week.Have him in before May ends.

Valencia at RB with Darmian on the bench. Ridiculous.

As solid as Darmian is defensively (mostly...) Valencia is by far the better attacking right back.

Pathetic defending of the high ball yet again.

    Rojo just abysmal.

smalling is a complete liability at set pieces All he does is hold and pull jerseys

I'd love one day for someone in the United coaching setup to explain what they are trying to accomplish with that short corner routine which 99% goes nowhere.

Doesn't negate the fact that it was pathetic defending from Utd.

Have to praise Leicester to a man with their 100% commitment. Wish we had it with our players at Arsenal.

No Aguero or KDB for city today. Biggest 20 odd minutes of our season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,366 ✭✭✭Robson99

Hopefully Fellani gets a 3 match ban for that and is flogged in the summer. Nasty and cowardice elbowing every game he plays, and is hopeless

I expect him to be told before the cup final, and if United win to bow out with his head held high saying it's his decision....family blah blah and then he is gone. That's what I've had a feeling the way it will happen for a few weeks now, then they nearly got dumped in the semi's and it could have been a straight forward sacking but this way he can keep his pride. Unless of course they lose the final.

That penalty decision probably going to cost us a top 4 finish, ref bottled it.

Struggled to stay awake, awful second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

Out with a whimper after an exciting first half.

Counting the days until Van Gaal is gone.

Shame Leicester couldn't win the title today if we weren't going town the game.

Nahh we had tons of points thrown away all season that challenge was probably not even a free kick.

City win today and 4th is as good as gone now.

So best we can do now is 69.

Arsenal are on 67 with two games left.
City on 64 with three games left.

We're going to need to win all three games, AND hope that the Arsenal vs City match ends with a winner and a loser, and not a draw :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Well there goes Champions League football

It was an extremely long shot anyway.

Alright performance against Champions elect. Time to focus on the FA Cup final and try to avoid injuries now.

If only. There's many reasons we didn't make top 4 and that call is pretty much near the bottom of them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

I'm annoyed with myself for continuously getting annoyed.

Mostly I'm annoyed though because Van Gaal is still in charge.

Story of the season again in only going full hammer in the dying minutes of the match. Kasper is a great keeper would love to see him here in the next few years.

West Ham are a point behind us, and we have to play them away. There's a good chance they could beat us there and jump us to 5th. Its also West Ham's last home game of the season, AND we've been poor on the road this season :(

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,858 ✭✭✭Manutd_4life

    Need Southampton to win.

    Next 3 games: Norwich
    West Ham
    Bournemouth

All tough games. Honestly can't see us getting 9 / 9.

It's alright lads we will gain a point on City today :pac:

United can finish on 73 can't they?

We have 60 points with 9 left to play for (3 games x 3 points)

Its also West Hams last home game at the boleyn ground which I'm sure will give them added incentive to beat us
