Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Going to miss the match and to be honest I'm ok with it. Couldn't handle the nerves otherwise.

I hope that's in jest rather than a serious observation that Utd have fallen so low that a last 16 match of the Europa league is so important you can't handle the nerves

Will the match be on any Irish radio station?

Wouldn't think so. Newstalk will do regular updates

Does it work in Ireland. I tried to listen to a game on TuneIn ages ago and the station cut out during it because of copyright for the territory or something.

Will that not be blocked when the game starts or is that only premierleague matches.

    Edit: Haha jayop.

I'm sure there's ways of getting the radio feed online but I'm not sure if we're allowed to talk about that here. It probably falls under the same rules as dodgy streams.

    be herrera

Van Gaal is full of **** when it comes to excuses. Talks so much about match rhythm and thn throws fellaini into 11 vs Liverpool away.

Hopefully he will have a good impact.

He's been on the bench a couple of games and is the only real physical presence in the team. No real problem with it.

Well it was a very illuminating chat with Señor #Mourinho for @btsport - you will see it on various BT shows. And he WILL be joining his new club in july.
Jose didn't confide on camera. But Jorge Mendes was there

Dare I take a peep into that match thread. With this fixture it is usually chaotic in there - can't handle that many scousers

Fellani in for Ander? There's your red card right there!

Yeah thinking again looks like tactic to counter pressing.

    Bit of kneejerk from me.

Much like the card happy referee appointed for the game, would imagine the mods will/would be card happy when/if it kicks off in the match thread.

If Liverpool win by 3 goals they will go ahead of us on goal difference :pac:

Dortmund play such lovely football its what I imagined we would play like when LVG took over :o

Thought that the game tonight was made for Herrera to be honest. Morgan and Fellaini as a partnership worries me a bit.

Can't remember being as unexcited about a Liverpool Utd match.

Van Gaal has slowly and methodically taken every ounce of joy out of watching football.

Why the secrecy if it isn't us, Chelsea, City Bayern announced mid season who their manager for next season would be

  • Some goal by rues

Personally i think if he is coming which is likley the best thing to do is keep it under wraps. Because City or Bayern do somethkng doesnt mean its right or what we should do. In my mind it undermines the outgoing manager. Look at city not exactly breaking their bollocks since that announcment has been made. Would our own players have the same commitment to LVG knowing he was ****ing off in the summer ? One would like to think so however far from a given. Best to just back the manager as long as he has the gig.

Depay crossing to Fellaini could really be a thing of beauty..

Nice bit of pace in our front 4 and Mata will want to make ammends for the red card.

I'm feeling good, excited dare I say positive and optimistic

Announce a new manager and your players may give up.

If we get booted from the two cups this week, I would imagine it will be announced shortly after.

Gone for Fellaini AGS and same with Rashford also did Fellaini first and United 3-1 :pac:

My point was there would be no need to keep it a secret unless he is coming to United

Hopefully Rashford will be hungry to get on the end of Fellaini's knockdowns. The lack of Herrera in the middle does worry me for getting the ball forward and out to the wide players, plus that bit of aggression in the middle. Happy to see Morgan in from the start though, hopefully the team can keep the card count down.

    Why only at United?

Announce that Jose will be taking over in the summer.

Then give him a season ticket and let the players see him in the stand every week, see who slacks off then.

Also, in this scenario, Van Gaal was sacked and replaced by a hatstand.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

    Why only at United?

The only other realistic options for him would be Juve or Madrid and both wouldn't need to keep it under wraps, Juve losing their manager and if Madrid had him signed up they'd announce it or the news would leak

Hopefully this is the case anyway

Have to say, love the sight of the scarves and flags in the stands. Brilliant atmosphere there at Anfield.

Maybe getting a little excited now!

Herrera giving all his team mates a tap on the back walking out.

Make him captain is all ill say.
