It is incompetence in the board room that has let it come this far. They left Van Gaal to it and went off signing up Asian sponsors. That's not how you run any organisation. The club needs a cull at the top.

Liverpool did a tactical number on us as much as everything.. doubled up on our main and only threat ie. our wide players... LVG helped them out by selecting two players with little pace in midfield...

Quandary

when the majority of your squad play poorly for nearly 2 years it's time to stop blaming players.

it's very hard to judge a player under LVG. with the exception of a handful of players it seems that the longer a player plays under LVG the more they regress.

can't wait for the LVG reign to come to an end.

For all the talk of the clear out post Moyes it's scary how much deadwood is in the squad.

Woodward should be left to manage the finances, he's obviously clueless when it comes to footballing matters. Think a director of football might be needed in the summer when LVG leaves.

there's a lack of movement and the selections are baffling. LVG is just awful at this stage.

I cant see it, he just looks so uninterested. Seems like he is is only at it when he has a chance of skinning a fullback. Cant do that against 2 centre backs.

LVG could be sacked when we lose to West Ham at the weekend and are out of everything. I cant see us coming back in the 2nd leg.

I said after Watford game we hadn't turned any corner and that it was our worst performance of the season. Not many agreed. Since then we were even worse v WBA and now this complete shambles tonight. This season has been a disgrace.

Fel was the only player who looked a bit passionate today. Should have been sent off multiple times, but least he showed some fight.

So many players just look like they've given up and can't be bothered playing. Don't know if thats they know LVG's days are numbered, or what.
