Thought it was on tonight :(

I watched the repeat yesterday evening.

KB is in great form since his accident last year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,770 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Kyle very mature about that finish, not sure if he will be as nice in private when talking to his team mate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

    Poor form from Carl there.

Fair enough bumping somebody out of the way for a win but not your own team mate.

Big race tonight, coverage starts at 5.30 on Setanta HD/not HD

So, BS yellow to end Daytona; and a BS yellow to end the Xfinity race yesterday. What are the odds of a BS yellow to end this one?

Woah, the big one was big!!!!

    The racing was very aggressive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

That takes a whole lot of cars out, half the field I guess
Forecast for rain seems to have changed to another hour away, so looks like it will finish

18 was lucky to get through the big 1

    Cmon Kyle

There is going to be a big one again going by the racing...

    That was a tough crash.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

I thought Kenseth was going through the fence there.

    Lucky lad

How many cars are needed for it to be classified as a big 1.

Must be 15 or so left at this stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

    Hard hit for Danica too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,770 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

DW looks worried for his brother.

I don't know, but big crashes qualify for me.

Well done to Keselowski who survived the crashathon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

    Crazy race today

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Good race but whole lot of wrecks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,378 ✭✭✭Nodferatu

It's so frustrating being a Truex fan right now. That was just unfortunate bad luck in Kansas. They are getting so close to wins. Thats at least 2 wins he should have. Fastest car on the track again. Joe Gibbs are killing it.

red flag in Dover, 18 cars involved in crash, accordion effect when one of the leaders stalls a bit on restart

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,770 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

That was a good last number of laps.

    Happy Kenseth won.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Some great racing last 20 laps

    Larson really did try everything

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,816 ✭✭✭TheChrisD

I'm really conflicted: happy to see some clean racing for the lead towards the end of the race; but also really unhappy Kenseth won and think Larson should've dumped him when he got to the bumper with a few to go.

A most dominant win for Truex Jr, led all but 12 miles of the 600 mile race.

He deserved it after being so unlucky in previous races.

Delighted, huge Truex fan. i thought for a moment 48 was going to challenge him. do any of you collect the Lionel nascar Diecasts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Sonoma raceway is great with the elevation changes

That was good finish to race and last lap, Hamlin should really have won it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,816 ✭✭✭TheChrisD

Well, NASCAR flubbed yet another plate race finish in the XFinity just there. So much so even the drivers are pissed:

anyone staying up to watch Daytona?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,816 ✭✭✭TheChrisD

Yea. Even though I suspect we're going to have another crappy yellow flag finish with a winner no-one really cares about as well as several bullshít calls along the way.

    Yes, hope it is good.

For anybody looking to watch Nascar/F1 this might be of use if you don't have a Setanta/BT subscription but have an Eir broadband connection. Free sports channels, hurrah!

Looking good for the Gibbs drivers.

Very hot at Indy, must be unbearable.
Why is Jeff Gordon racing this weekend in the 88?

Dale Jr has concussion (like symptoms). And was advised to sit out for a bit.

That was a bit like Talladega...too much movement going on before that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Lucky more cars weren't caught up in that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,770 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

Kyle Busch deserves to win this. Hope Logano doesn't.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,681 ✭✭✭✭Ghost Train

Wonder how many caution laps they can keep going around without some of them running out of fuel

    You had to ask :P

This race should be over and they should be victory lane or kissing the bricks at this stage, seems they can't do two laps without a crash.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Ill be pissed if KB dosnt win this.

    He deserves it.

Seems never ending, leaders will be running on fumes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,770 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

That is dominating as you get at Indy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,770 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

That truck race had a crazy finish.

Basically drive your rival into the wall, keep racing while keeping your rival in the wall, and win by around 1 foot.

The officials spent 10 minutes deciding the result, and gave it to Nemechek who had put his rival in the wall.

The next truck race should be interesting, there will be retribution.

    Handbags after were fun lol

Glad i caught the end of that was watching the indycar

John Hunter just wrecked his reputation with that move. Other reports also that the 00 team ruined JHN's hauler after the race, and also Custer got a standing ovation on the plane heading back from all the various paddock crews!
