Has anyone any recommendations for the best sub 100 euro DD-wrt compatible cable router?

Why DD-WRT? Why not buy a Mikrotik which would give you all the features of a 300 quid router and more for little money.

    Big thread about them here

If you just want to play around with DD-WRT, I have an old D-Link DIR-615 (http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/home-solutions/connect/routers/dir-615-wireless-n-300-router) at home running DD-WRT, and I'm not using it anymore.

It works fine, just don't need it anymore as VM gave me an integrated, non bridgable, modem/router. I can stick it up on adverts if interested?

In terms of general recommendations (without me ont he make, trying to sell old hardware!), they have suggested ones in their forum - keep an eye that you get one with enough RAM to run the latest dev revision.
Also, a lot of routers have different hardware versions that can catch you out...

    Why do you want DD-WRT?

I want to bridge my vm compal modem as I'm having issues with the WiFi

I actually used to have a dlink dir-615 thanks for the offer.

I'm pretty used to DD-wrt and i liked it so would like to continue also want to run a vpn through it every now and again.

Was looking at the tplink archer c7 seems to be pretty decent
